"AC won't turn on"

AC & heating repair san marcos tx

Problem: Wimberley homeowner, Mary M., had 2 AC units and noticed one of them wouldn't turn on. So, she gave us a call. We sent our tech, Edgar, to take a look at her AC unit and diagnose the issue.

Solution: Edgar found several problems with the faulty AC unit that were directly related to age. Mary's AC was just over the 10-year mark, and most AC systems in Wimberley last 10–15 years. As a result of its old age, several AC components were falling apart.

Also, since Mary's AC was an older, it used an outdated (and expensive) type of refrigerant called R-22. Which means, if Mary's AC lines were to ever spring a refrigerant leak, she'd have to pay a crazy high AC repair bill to recharge her system.

Once Edgar explained the issues to Mary, they decided it was best to replace the faulty unit. Edgar took the time to walk Mary through her new AC options and eventually installed a new Gold Series American Standard unit, with a 10-year, worry-free parts and labor warranty.
